Xylocaine is also topical; this means that you don't need to swallow any pills. Instead, it comes as a spray. When you want to engage in sexual intercourse, you simply give a few sprays to your penis and then wait for it to have its desired effect.

One benefit of Xylocaine is that it allows you to experiment with different degrees of strength. Typically, it takes about five sprays to let you last; however, you can add or subtract the number of sprays depending on your needs. Aiming for a quickie? Only use 3 sprays. Hoping for a marathon? Try as much as 10. Don't get too carried away however; the drug works as an anesthetic, dulling the sensation in your penis (Xylocaine is used elsewhere because of this property). If you use too much, you won’t be able to experience any pleasurable feelings - your penis will be numb! In fact, that is the main disadvantage of Xylocaine; things feel "different" with it - less intense.

Since it is readily available and does not require a doctor's visit, it is easy to try it out. It could put the spring back in your - well, you know. While you're using it, however, try not to mix it with other medications (otherwise you might want to ask your doctor, anyway, just to play it safe). You may also want to warn your partner that you will be applying the Xylocaine beforehand - and avoid foreplay of the oral sort.
